The Rosebud Indian Reservation is in South Dakota. Rosebud is located in Todd County, one of the poorest counties in the United States. While the government does provide aid to this area, it often does not reach those who need it most. We hope to change this through fostering mutually beneficial relationships. In our initial efforts, we hope to also establish trust and build community acceptance. After our first few years, we intend to expand to programs that focus on empowering individuals on the reservation and help to provide them with the tools, skills, and additional help necessary to become self-sufficient. We recognize to do this we must first focus on meeting their basic needs.
Our organization has received a 501(c)(3) recognition with the IRS. We are headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska and all of our work is done on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
